Chuck Davis, the director of cybersecurity for Hikvision USA, was appointed to the Security Industry Association (SIA) Cybersecurity Advisory Board. The board provides prescriptive guidance and advocacy for new and existing cybersecurity strategies and solutions.

A lack of cybersecurity funding and expertise threatens the U.S. infrastructure, as a result, private sector companies have been forced to take cybersecurity more seriously. According to some projections, cybersecurity spend will reach over $1 trillion on digital security globally through 2021.

Paul Sun, CEO of SIA Member company IronYun, described how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing intrusion detection dynamics in the security industry with SecurityInformed.com.

Amazon is now selling home security services, including installations and no monthly fee. Amazon has launched a portal offering home security services; which include all the equipment you would need and in-person visits from Amazon consultants to advise and install the kit.
