President and CEO of PSA Security Network recognized for his contributions to the security industry

SILVER SPRING, MD – Bill Bozeman, President and CEO, of PSA Security Network, has been named as the 2012 recipient of the George R. Lippert Memorial Award. The award, which was first presented by the Security Industry Association (SIA) in 1989, recognizes outstanding contributions to SIA and the security industry. Mr. Bozeman was chosen to receive the award by a unanimous vote of former winners.
Mr. Bozeman has 33 years of experience in the security systems integration business and has a successful track record in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. He has served as president of Delta Audio-Visual Security, president of Dictograph Alarm Systems Inc, president of Delta Countermeasures and vice president of strategic alliances for Pinkerton Systems Integration. He served two terms on the SIA Board of Directors.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bozeman has directed sophisticated electronic security projects for corporate America, the U.S. government and private institutions. In 2005, he was inducted into the Security Integration Hall of Fame, a lifetime achievement award that recognizes those individuals whose distinguished careers have helped shape the electronic security industry. In 2006, Mr. Bozeman was recognized as one of the security industry's 25 Most Influential Security Executives.

The George R. Lippert Memorial Award will be presented at the SIA Security Week Gala, which will be held 7:00-10:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, New York, NY.
