Security Industry Association Introduces Jay Hauhn Excellence in Partnerships Award

the establishment of the Jay Hauhn Excellence in Partnerships Award.
On Nov. 20,
SIA hosted SIA Honors Night: Celebrating Performance, Partnerships and People
in the Security Industry, its annual awards and charity dinner, held at The
Lighthouse and Chelsea Piers in New York, N.Y. During the ceremony, SIA CEO Don
Erickson unveiled the Jay Hauhn Excellence in Partnerships Award in tribute to
Jay Hauhn, the outgoing SIA Chairman of the Board. The annual award will mark contributions
to the electronic physical security and life safety industry through a commitment
to fostering collaboration among industry trade associations and advancing the
interests of their collective memberships and the entire industry—a personal
hallmark of Hauhn's tenure as SIA Chairman of the Board.
