Maritime Cybersecurity: Keeping Cargo Moving

The Government Accountability Office noted in October that, “the nation’s ports face an evolving array of cyber-based threats,” and that, “by exploiting vulnerabilities in information and communications technologies supporting port operations, cyberattacks can potentially disrupt the flow of commerce, endanger public safety, and facilitate the theft of valuable cargo.”

The Security Industry Association will take a closer look at this issue during a free Security Practitioner Insights webcast on maritime cybersecurity, to be held on Wednesday, March 9, at 3 p.m.
