Gayle Keller - SIA Women in Security Forum Leadership Series

Join SIA’s Women in Security Forum for a special session live on The Bridge, the stage on ISC West’s show floor, as we kick off our 2022 Leadership Series of events, which brings together professional development content and networking.

During this session, you’ll hear from renowned speaker and seasoned technology executive Gayle Keller, along with her dynamic colleague Susan K. Younger, on how to crack the communication codes to lead to greater amicability among peers, collaborative environments and balanced teams of complementary personalities.

This special presentation from Keller – and presented by the SIA Women in Security Forum and Intel – is designed to be personality based and people focused. As a participant, you’ll learn how to understand the differences in approaching a decision to any given situation, especially between genders.

Individuals will:

  • Complete an assessment that identifies personality traits, work preferences and communication styles
  • Review, examine and present the results
  • Learn about the different traits people have and how to work productively with them
  • Role play various challenges with specific, real-life situations
  • Gain a full understanding of the assessment
  • Implement learnings immediately

About the Speakers

Gayle Keller

Gayle Keller is an award-winning seasoned technology executive who learned to become a risk taker at heart as she has successfully and professionally reinvented herself many times to assume higher level positions in the male-dominated tech industry. As an executive, she experienced firsthand how woman struggle to excel and how men struggle to understand and cohesively work together with women.

From her own work experiences and a strong personal calling to empower women to succeed without leaving men behind, Keller launched her own firm, Gayle Keller LLC, to be a powerful force in the revitalization of gender inclusivity in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) industries. Keller’s built-in company bonus is to be a positive role model to her two young girls and do her part in the world to build an inclusive culture of all genders in all sectors of STEAM.

Keller is hailed for her leadership, hands-on programs and direct approach to shift the paradigm and culture of organizations through her keynotes, presentations, advisory services, coaching programs and soon-to-be published book, Theodora Speaks.

Her skills to deal with the diversity of people have given her a depth of experience few business leaders acquire.

Younger has always used the word simple to define how she works and lives life. Her book, Simple Living, Simple Food: Life Lessons Learned Dining with Family & Friends, was published in 2013, and she has been a contributing author to five other books on leadership and life.

After working with Susan, individuals and teams move with confidence from chaos to clarity. They gain the skills to solve problems and to act effectively in conversations and interpersonal communication in both business and life.
