Marc Benson is a sales manager for the Security Industry Association (SIA).
Marc spent 12 years at the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) in Northern Virginia where he rose to the position of senior director for association sales. While at the NAA, he generated more than $2 million annually selling products that included sponsorships, print/online advertising, memberships and exhibits. He previously worked as a senior account executive for The Washington Times, which named him salesman of the month five times and co-op salesman of the year once. He has also been an award-winning salesman with The Georgetown Courier, Et Cetera Communications and Sentinel Publications.
Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland.
