SIA Members Invited to Participate in New Corporate Counsel Forum
The Security Industry Association (SIA) is establishing a peer-to-peer forum for general counsels and their teams at SIA member companies. This group, the SIA Corporate Counsel Forum (CCF), will be a community for discussion on key legal topics impacting the security industry, and is expected to launch by July 1, 2025.
The CCF community will hold quarterly hourlong virtual meetings, which will also include insights from guest speakers on topics selected by the CCF. Potential discussion topics include:
- Product vulnerability and cybersecurity incident response
- Privacy and compliance
- The Secure Antiterrorism, Financial and Economic Technologies (SAFETY) Act
- Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice oversight of mergers and acquisitions
- Artificial intelligence governance in Europe and the United States
