Led by instructor J. Kelly Stewart, this 10-hour class will be conducted in five 2-hour classes: January 8 (Tuesday), 4-6 p.m.; January 10 (Thursday), 4-6 p.m.; January 14 (Monday), 4-6 p.m.; January 15 (Tuesday), 4-6 p.m.; January 17 (Thursday), 4-6 p.m. (all time are Eastern).

Advanced Security Project Management is our in-person, 2.5-day, instructor-led program. With nearly double the material of the e-learning course, this offering is for those who need a deep dive on best practices related to project management for security systems installations.

This 2.5-day, instructor-led program offers project managers clear perspective on the importance of their role to project stakeholders and identifies risk that could hinder project success. As part of the SPM training, attendees receive these on-the-job reference materials:

  • The SIA Security Project Management Body of Knowledge Guidebook, a common framework of security terms and principles that allows security project managers to discuss, debate and resolve matters pertaining to the profession with a common understanding.
