SIA Veterans in Security
About SIA Veterans in Security
The Security Industry Association's Veterans in Security community focuses on the issues and concerns of veterans who are in, or are interested in joining, the security industry. In addition, it develops resources to support active armed forces members who are nearing separation or retirement and may be interested in leveraging their military experience to launch a civilian career in the security sector.
Membership is free and is open to all SIA members. Not a SIA member yet? You can still join and will be subscribed to Veterans in Security news and receive invitations to our events and programs, although you may not receive full member privileges.
Coming Soon! SIA Veterans in Security Scholarship
SIA's Veterans in Security community is pleased to present a new scholarship opportunity starting in 2026. Stay tuned for the announcement in August!
