Vertical Insights: Higher Education Security Symposium
About the Webinar
Vertical Insights is a series of virtual events presented by the Security Industry Association (SIA) and focused on top vertical markets. This series is designed to bring together practitioners, security integrators, solution providers, consultants and others involved in protecting key sectors.
Higher education institutions are facing mounting pressure to secure increasingly dynamic campus environments amid rising concerns around campus violence, unauthorized access, protest activity, cybersecurity threats and emergency response coordination. At the same time, colleges and universities must preserve the open, collaborative atmosphere that defines campus life while protecting students, faculty, staff and visitors across classrooms, residence halls, research facilities and public gathering spaces.
This symposium will bring together technology leaders working in higher education and campus security professionals from Pennsylvania universities to examine how higher education institutions are advancing campus safety through integrated security technologies, innovation and collaborative security strategies. Discussions will highlight real-world operational challenges, lessons learned and emerging solutions that enhance situational awareness, improve emergency response and help protect students, faculty, staff and visitors across today’s evolving campus environments.
