DeAndre Thornton
Manager of Learning and Development

DeAndre Thornton is the manager of learning and development for the Security Industry Association. DeAndre plays an integral role in the planning and delivery of educational programming for SIA Education@ISC conferences and SPM training courses. He assists in expanding SIA’s learning and development portfolio by coordinating the development of micro-learnings and other online training resources available through the SIA Center of Excellence.

DeAndre recently served as the event coordinator of the National Association of Enrolled Agents in downtown Washington, DC. He received his bachelor’s degree in entertainment business from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in the planning and coordination of SIA Education@ISC events.
• Manages logistics of SPM training courses.
• Supports learning program development for the SIA Center of Excellence.
