As a valued member of the Security Industry Association (SIA), I wanted to share with you the news from our partner Reed Exhibitions/ISC Security Events that ISC West 2021 has been rescheduled given the ongoing global health concerns. The new dates are now July 19-21 at The Venetian Resort and Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas. You can read ISC’s full announcement here.
Our learning and development team is working on the 2021 SIA Education@ISC West program. The education session will run concurrently during the July event’s expo, and plans are already being made to deliver courses needed in today’s environment, including new classes on business continuity, facilities management and health and safety.
As a business owner myself, I know we are all adjusting to the pandemic, and I thought it would be helpful for us all to announce the rescheduled dates as early as possible. I hope this helps provide some better planning clarity to our membership and for the people who attend, exhibit, or otherwise participate at ISC West.
Additional details about the 2021 ISC West event are expected to be available next month. SIA will coordinate our own member events and committee meetings around these new dates and will communicate those plans with you, our members.
SIA and I look forward to all of us getting back together in person for business, learning and networking in the coming year. Most importantly, we look forward to doing it safely.
In the meantime, as we committed to you early in the pandemic, we will continue to double down on you, by providing you additional value for your firm’s membership. We will continue to expand our online training programs, virtual events, research and content – including new programs designed to help you succeed in vertical markets.
As your association, we will continue to adapt and be responsive – just as you have been with your partners, customers and employees. Thank you for your membership and support!
