In our increasingly connected world, cybersecurity risks are becoming even more prevalent, and it’s critical for the security industry to stay up to date on the evolving threat landscape and how to mitigate threats. ISC Security Events and the Security Industry Association (SIA) are collaborating to make cybersecurity a bigger part than ever before at the 2025 ISC West show!

“ISC West has long been the leading converged security trade show in the United States, and we are always working to make the show even more relevant to cybersecurity professionals and attendees,” said ISC Event Vice President Mary Beth Shaughnessy. “Each year we tailor the program to expand on and enhance the cybersecurity content and offerings, and we look forward to connecting this year’s attendees with a robust selection of impactful keynotes, sessions, events and technologies in cybersecurity and connected IoT.”

“The convergence of physical and cybersecurity is front of mind for security professionals, and the 2025 SIA Education@ISC West conference program reflects the growing demand for more cybersecurity education,” said Dr. Elli Reges, director of learning and development at SIA. “Attendees can expect to see a variety of sessions addressing vulnerabilities for interconnected systems, implementing best practices and working with IT teams to protect critical assets and infrastructure. New this year, we have partnered with RSA to deliver high-impact sessions that bridge the gap between physical security and IT. Our goal is to provide education that helps professionals remain adaptable and proactive in a rapidly changing security landscape.”

At ISC West this year, attendees have access to more top-quality cybersecurity content and offerings than ever before, including:

Looking to boost your cybersecurity knowledge? A certification can help! SIA’s Security Industry Cybersecurity Certification (SICC) is an essential, highly respected credential and the first-ever certification focused specifically on cybersecurity for physical security systems. As a designated SICC, you will validate the skills required to support technical security installations according to industry best practices for electronic security and cybersecurity and aligning with clients’ organizational priorities and business objectives. Developed by SIA with support from PSA Security Network and Security Specifiers and designed for security industry professionals, the SICC program validates the core knowledge and skills these individuals must possess to effectively perform roles involving key facets of cybersecurity.
