SIA Honors Lynn de Seve of GSA Schedules Inc. with 2016 SIA Chairman’s Award

Silver Spring, Md. — The Security Industry Association (SIA) will honor Lynn de Seve of GSA Schedules Inc. with its 2016 Chairman’s Award during a ceremony at its annual meeting in Las Vegas during ISC West on Tuesday, April 5.

Ms. de Seve has been a capable leader within the security industry in the past year, assisting SIA and security companies with government relations, actively participating in the 2015 SIA Government Summit, and allying with SIA to offer its members new benefits.

SIA Chairman V. John Stroia will present the 2016 SIA Chairman’s Award to Ms. de Seve at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, scheduled to occur on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, during ISC West. Register to attend free of charge at https://www.securityindustry.org/advance.

“I want to thank the Security Industry Association for honoring me with the Chairman’s Award,” said Ms. de Seve. “My company has greatly benefited from our membership in the association for more than 15 years, and I am a staunch supporter! SIA has truly been a catalyst for my success in the industry.

“As a small woman-owned business providing government contracting support to the security industry, GSA Schedules Inc. and its clients have truly benefited from the shared information, technology insights, and government relations influence offered by SIA. While serving on various committees and participating in SIA events, I have cultivated great business contacts and made lifelong friendships in the industry. I am truly honored,” she added.

“When I think of SIA and its leaders, one of the first people I think of is Lynn de Seve,” said SIA Chairman Stroia. “Her tireless efforts to keep security companies informed about occurrences and changes at the General Services Administration have proven invaluable to those companies that conduct government business. SIA is proud of its long association with Lynn and her company, and the association looks forward to her leadership and guidance for many more years to come.”

Mr. Stroia will present SIA award recipients, including the SIA Chairman’s Award, Sandy Jones Volunteer of the Year Award, and SIA Committee Chair of the Year Award at The Advance, held during ISC West at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., on Tuesday, April 5.
