Meet Your 2024-2025 SIA Women in Security Forum AmbassadHERs!

The new class of AmbassadHERs will help WISF grow community engagement in regions across the United States and Latin America.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) Women in Security Forum (WISF) welcomes 11 new members of the WISF community to serves as AmbassadHERs in the WISF AmbassadHER program! Strategically located across the United States and now additionally in Mexico and Latin America, WISF AmbassadHERs lead efforts to connect with current and potential members through virtual and in-person outreach in their regions, develop strategies and programs to increase member engagement, provide insights to the WISF Steering Committee on feedback from the community regarding additional outreach and support, promote and support WISF programs through social media and in-person networking in their regions and work with SIA staff to leverage connections and collective action to achieve WISF’s goals.

The SIA Women in Security Forum is a community that offers programs, professional development opportunities and networking events with the goal of supporting the involvement of women in the security industry. Key WISF initiatives include the WISF Scholarship, which furthers educational opportunities and promotes advancement for the widest spectrum of people in the industry; the SIA Progress Award, which celebrates individuals who advance opportunities for women in the security industry; the Power 100, an annual initiative showcasing 100 women who are role models, leaders, innovators and influencers in global security; organizing keynote series events at ISC East and West; co-leadership of the Security LeadHER conference in partnership with ASIS International; volunteer efforts that give back to the community; collaborative projects with other organizations that seek to empower women in the security and technology fields; sponsorship of the SIA Women in Biometrics Awards program; thought leadership and speaking opportunities; and engaging networking and professional growth events. Participation in the SIA Women in Security Forum is open to all employees of SIA member companies; learn more and get involved.
