The SIA Data Center Advisory Board has released its Data Center Principles, a reference guide for data center security professionals. Access the guide to learn these 12 principles around design and architecture, access and trust, operations and management and resilience and adaptability.
SIA has announced a strategic partnership with nFACT, a platform that connects buyers and service providers through a trusted, curated marketplace for the commercial building trades. This partnership will enhance SIA membership value by prominently featuring SIA member companies and SIA-certified professionals on the nFACT platform and offering discounted access to the platform and opportunities to connect with 27,000+ service providers.

Applications are open for four 2026 SIA scholarship opportunities: the 25 on the RISE Awards, Denis R. Hébert Identity Management Scholarship, James Rothstein Business Scholarship and SIA–SecuritySpecifiers Young Consultants Scholarship. These initiatives offer funds to security industry professionals, as well as students, to help them further their professional development and educational goals. Don’t wait; apply by July 31!
