  Niranjan Maka is the CEO and co-founder of SmartHub.ai, a VMware/Broadcom spin-out based in Palo Alto. SmartHub.ai develops edge/Internet of Things infrastructure and artificial intelligence security software that helps enterprises simplify, manage and secure complex edge environments. Maka’s work sits at the intersection of edge intelligence, automation and cyber hygiene for security and operational systems.

  Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Maka brings deep enterprise technology leadership experience, including senior roles at VMware in edge/IoT engineering and global research and development site leadership, along with earlier roles in security and enterprise software. He is also an active industry voice on edge AI and security, including contributions to SIA Technology Insights, and has moderated ACM/IEEE panels on edge computing, bringing both thought leadership and hands-on practitioner insight to SIA debates on AI, operational technology and cyber-physical security.

  Phil Jang is a seasoned security technology leader with over 25 years of experience advancing enterprise physical security and operational resilience programs. Serving in a leadership role with SIA’s SPARC (Security Practitioners Advancing Real Conversations) community, he represents the voice of the customer in evaluating emerging technologies across the security ecosystem.

  Jang’s work focuses on the practical application of computer vision artificial intelligence (AI). agentic AI and other applied AI systems in the converged security industry to enhance safety, improve operational efficiency, and reduce false-positive alerting in global security operations centers. He leads engineering and deployment initiatives across multinational environments and is an active contributor to industry benchmarking efforts aimed at improving outcomes through automation, computer vision, and converged infrastructure strategies.

  Colón leads the US East region while also overseeing Gallagher’s Latin America sales organization, driving expansion across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Panama, the Caribbean and other high-growth markets. He is passionate about empowering teams, strengthening channel partnerships and accelerating sustainable growth across the Americas.

  Having witnessed the evolution of security from standalone systems to unified platforms, Colón champions Gallagher Security’s vision, where access control, perimeter protection, intrusion, compliance and operational efficiency operate as one scalable solution.
