About the Event

Get ready for an evening of celebration, recognition and giving at SIA Honors Night. Join us at the beautiful City Winery in New York City as we honor exceptional members of the security industry for their leadership, commitment, service and lasting contributions. The evening will recognize this year’s distinguished honorees, including the recipients of SIA's George R. Lippert Memorial Award, Progress Award and Insightful Practitioner Award.

SIA Honors Night will once again benefit the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST), bringing even more meaning to the celebration. The FAST Auction will give guests the chance to bid on exciting items and experiences, with additional opportunities to give and make an impact throughout the evening. Lippert Award

The George R. Lippert Memorial Award, founded in 1989, is named in honor of George R. Lippert, who dedicated more than 20 years of his life to the security industry and SIA. The award recognizes leaders' long-term service to SIA and the security industry, the impact of their efforts on behalf of SIA and the industry and their integrity, leadership and diplomacy.

Progress Award

The SIA Progress Award, presented by the SIA Women in Security Forum, celebrates an individual who is advancing opportunities and paving the way to success for women in the security industry.

Insightful Practitioner Award

SIA's Insightful Practitioner Award is presented to a security practitioner who demonstrates leadership and excellence in promoting the implementation of innovative security solutions through education, advocacy and teamwork with the security industry and other stakeholders.
