2012 SIA New Product Showcase Winners’ Forum at ISC West
Bringing innovation to the forefront

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the creation of a new Winners’ Forum as part of the 2012 SIA New Product Showcase (NPS) at ISC West, which will be held March 27-30 at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The NPS has been the premier awards-based marketing program in the security industry for more than three decades. Each year at ISC West, the NPS program recognizes outstanding contributions to the protection of life and property in residential, commercial and institutional settings. Judging panels composed of industry experts select winners in various categories. The most coveted awards are the Judges’ Choice Award and the event’s highest honor — the Best New Product Award.

In this highly-anticipated forum, SIA will present the winners of the 2012 NPS in a featured session of the ISC West Signature Series, a series of three plenary discussions open to all expo and conference participants that explore key industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. The Signature Series is part of the ISC Premier Education Series, the educational conference developed by industry experts on the ISC West Education Advisory Board.

At the NPS Winners’ Forum, judges will present the winners of the top two awards and representatives of the winning companies will provide insight into how these cutting-edge innovations are transforming the industry. A Q&A session will follow.

“This is an opportunity for NPS participants and ISC West attendees to learn more about the judges who participate in the NPS, and about how new products are judged,” said Jennifer Martin, Chair of the SIA NPS Committee. “Winning products typically meet a need that has previously been unmet, and this is a chance for participants to look ‘behind the curtain’ and see inside the judging process.”

The SIA New Product Showcase Winners’ Forum will take place the morning of Thursday, March 29, at 9:00 a.m. and is open to all ISC West expo and conference attendees. There is no cost to attend.

The 2012 SIA New Product Showcase at ISC West is scheduled for March 27-30 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. SIA members save $1,000 off the registration fee.
