Women in Security Invited to Write for SIA Technology Insights

women in security

The Security Industry Association (SIA) is starting work on the fall 2018 edition of SIA Technology Insights (STI) , a journal featuring original, vendor-neutral content from industry experts. This next issue – as part of SIA’s new Women in Security Forum initiative – will exclusively feature articles by women in the security industry, and SIA is now seeking proposals from female SIA members and security practitioners.

Published biannually by SIA, STI distills the most current thinking for applying today’s security technologies, covering applications and solutions. Authoring an article gives you the opportunity to position yourself and your organization as industry thought leaders and contribute to the body of knowledge SIA provides to the industry and security practitioner community.

If you are interested in contributing to STI’s next issue, please send a proposal to Geoff Kohl at gkohl@securityindustry.org highlighting the topic you plan to cover. Articles must follow SIA’s STI editorial guidelines, and proposals are due by Friday, June 8, with complete drafts due Monday, July 2. For examples of the topics we’ve covered in the past, check out the spring 2018 edition of STI.
