Nominate Our Next SIA NPS Awards Committee Chair

Call for nominations open through Sept. 30, 2022.

Attention Security Industry Association (SIA) members! As you may know, Guidepost Solutions’ Christopher Grniet, who has  served in the position of chair of the SIA New Products and Solutions (NPS) Awards Committee for several years, will soon complete his term.  We appreciate his vision and strong support for the SIA NPS program and congratulate Chris for his service.

SIA is now seeking nominations for candidates to serve as the next chair of the SIA NPS Awards Committee, and we encourage you to nominate a leader for this vital role. The new chair will be officially named this fall and officially assume his or her role as part of the SIA NPS program during ISC West 2023.

The SIA NPS Awards at ISC West is the premier industry event to recognize new and innovative security products and services. SIA NPS judges present awards in 30+ product and service categories and also recognize the annual Best New Product and Judges’ Choice Award winners out of the entries.

The next chair, to be appointed by the SIA Chair of the Board of Directors, will serve for the 2022-2024 term and will hold the following responsibilities: The chair’s primary responsibilities shall be to: oversee the process of selecting SIA NPS Awards Committee Members, the selection of a vice chair; liaise with SIA and RX staff regarding the coordination and operations of the event; educate judges on the event process; oversee award voting to maintain the integrity of the program; participate in the awards ceremony and post awards event; and generally coordinate the activities and responsibilities of the committee and the judges.
