Security Industry Association Names Bill Brennan to SIA Executive Advisory Board
Bill Brennan, president of i-PRO Americas, will join the association’s panel of executive thought leaders from SIA member companies.
SILVER SPRING, Md. – The Security Industry Association (SIA) has appointed Bill Brennan of i-PRO to serve on the SIA Executive Advisory Board.
Established in 2017, the SIA Executive Advisory Board (EAB) is a panel of executive thought leaders from SIA member companies and a forum that offers input on how market developments influence SIA’s strategy and key initiatives. The group advises the SIA Board of Directors on potential SIA member benefits on topics that include research, standards and technology and vertical market content. For example, the forthcoming SIA report “The Evolving Security Industry: The Adaptation of the Security Integrator” is a product developed with input and guidance from the EAB.
“I am honored to be a member of the Executive Advisory Board for SIA. I truly look forward to working with such a talented and committed group of industry leaders,” said Brennan. “I have increased my involvement with SIA over the past few years because of the organization’s commitment to diversity and enriching lives.”
Brennan serves as president of i-PRO Americas. With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, he led the security business unit under Panasonic before assuming his current role in April 2019 when i-PRO became an independent company. Since then, Brennan has been focused on addressing the security market’s needs by offering cutting-edge, proactive solutions and building a community centered on mutual prosperity and trust. He resides in Florida and enjoys traveling across the country, meeting and establishing strong relationships with end users and partners. Brennan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida.
“We are honored to have Bill Brennan join the Executive Advisory Board. As president of i-PRO, Bill brings exceptional insight and experience to a group of industry leaders who drive SIA’s strategy through their guidance on the Executive Advisory Board,” said SIA Board of Directors Chair James Rothstein. “I know that Bill’s input will be invaluable. We’re so pleased to have Bill and i-PRO as such integral members of SIA.”
