New York City Leaders Take the Stage at ISC East 2025

The ISC East keynote speakers, along with the ASIS International NYC Person of the Year honoree, have been named.

NORWALK, Conn.—ISC East, with premier sponsor the Security Industry Association (SIA) and in partnership with the ASIS International NYC Chapter, will feature an impressive lineup of New York City leaders in its 2025 Keynote Series and the ASIS International NYC Person of the Year Luncheon. Held Nov. 18–20 at the Javits Convention Center, ISC East offers attendees unparalleled access to the experts driving security and public safety in the region.

The ISC East Day 1 Keynote, “Securing NYC: Technology and Innovation in Public Safety,” will be delivered by Kaz Daughtry, deputy mayor for public safety, New York City, on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), Deputy Mayor Daughtry will explore how New York City is leveraging cutting-edge technology to address an evolving threat landscape. Highlights will include the expansion of the NYPD Drone Program, which enhances situational awareness, emergency response and community trust.

Amanda Mason, vice president of intelligence at Related Companies, will headline the Day 2 keynote on Thursday, Nov. 20. Presented by the SIA Women in Security Forum, Mason’s keynote, “Protecting New York’s Critical Infrastructure: A Hudson Yards Perspective,” will offer an exclusive look into the complexities of securing the largest private real estate development in U.S. history. Mason will delve into the intersection of cyber, physical and geopolitical risks and highlight strategies for integrating intelligence into operations to protect critical assets.

ISC East will also host the annual ASIS International NYC Person of the Year Luncheon. This event will honor New York Police Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch and feature a keynote address from James O’Neill, former police commissioner of New York City and current head of global security at Visa. The Person of the Year Luncheon will address the importance of public-private partnerships, highlighting how the security industry collaborates with the NYPD and other agencies to ensure the protection and safety of people, businesses, and critical infrastructure.
