- ASIS and SIA have announced details for the 2026 Security LeadHER conference, a special event dedicated to advancing, connecting and empowering women in the security profession and taking place June 15–16 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We’re looking for speaking proposals too! Share your idea by Jan. 31 here.

- Time is running out to submit a nomination for the 2026 SIA Women in Security Forum (WISF) Power 100 program! Each year, this initiative showcases 100 women who are role models, leaders, innovators and influencers in the global security. Submit your nominations by Jan. 31!
- SIA’s Standards Committee is seeking speakers and presentations for its next State of Industry Standards webinar, which will take place in mid- to late February 2026. We invite proposals from standards developing organizations to participate in this special event. Don’t wait; proposals are due Jan. 9!
