He initially joined Motorola Solutions through the Avigilon acquisition in 2018, where he led the product management teams.
With over 30 years of experience in the tech industry, Dobson has become a recognized expert within the video security industry and has domain expertise in optical and telecom networking, video systems, security and surveillance technology and semiconductors. Under his visionary leadership, his teams have put focus on cutting-edge AI-driven solutions that help deliver better outcomes to first responders and centered around customer needs.
With a passion for groundbreaking technologies and their practical applications, Dobson is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence to revolutionize the video security industry. When he is not busy turning video into knowledge, he enjoys exploring the coast mountains on skis, bikes and kayaks and spending quality time with his family.
