The Security Industry Association (SIA) is looking for engaging and informative speakers and sessions for the 2026 Perimeter PREVENT, the premier event in perimeter security.

Key Details

Perimeter PREVENT delivers engaging, commercial-free discussions with invaluable insights on the full sphere of perimeter security topics, from physical hardening to layering detection technologies at the perimeter. Strong areas of focus will include government facilities, public events and spaces, data centers and policies and regulations.

  • Session formats can be individual presentations, workshops, panel discussions and/or interview-style conversations.
  • You are cordially invited to bring your knowledge and expertise to the Perimeter PREVENT stage. Submit your proposal today!
  • SIA is particularly interested in proposals from government officials, practitioners, and technology subject matter experts.

Proposal Review, Selection and Notification

Proposals are evaluated and will be selected on the basis of the following criteria. Government presenters are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Must contribute to attendee knowledge of perimeter security and should be relevant to both practitioners, consultants and service providers tasked with perimeter security implementation and oversight
  • Must offer commercial-free and vendor-neutral content

Conference Topics and Themes

Topics/content should fall under one or more of these broad areas:

  • Physical Hardening Solutions, including physical barriers, gates, and other hardening solutions
  • Standards, Guidelines, and Widely Adopted Best Practices
  • Policies and Regulations impacting Perimeter Security
  • Stadium Authority and or Professional Sports Organizations
  • Data Center Security
  • CPTED Applied to Perimeter Security
  • Layering Intrusion Detection at the Perimeter
  • Entrance Screening Relationship to Perimeter Security
  • Integration of Multiple Layers of Perimeter Security

Responsibilities

Speakers/panel organizers are responsible for performing the following in a time frame set by SIA:

  • Secure the participation of any panelists
  • Coordinate session planning, with support from SIA as needed
  • Provide any presentation content ahead of the event
  • Actively promote registration for Perimeter PREVENT among potential participants
