Securing the Future: Navigating Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies

Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (EST) | ISC East, Javits Center, Room 1A10, New York City
The rapid evolution of technology is reshaping the cybersecurity landscape, introducing both unprecedented opportunities and complex challenges. As organizations adopt new technologies and trends, such as AI, DML, 5G/6G, robotics, cloud-native architectures, and more, cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, leveraging different tools to exploit supply chain vulnerabilities and target emerging technologies. This roundtable will convene industry leaders, technology innovators, and security professionals to discuss the year's most pressing cybersecurity trends, share best practices, and explore collaborative solutions to safeguard our digital future.
This roundtable aims to bring together industry operators to discuss various technology and cybersecurity challenges and their solutions. Cyber and tech experts will moderate the roundtable discussions with a group of personnel from diverse sectors (enterprise, government, academia, consultants, and technology vendors). The intent is to engage these thought leaders and gauge their perspectives on emerging threats and solutions.
Learning Objectives:
The objective of the roundtable is to create the following:
- Facilitate an open dialogue on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, including AI-driven attacks, quantum computing risks, and deep-fake-based social engineering.
- Examine the impact of emerging technologies, including generative AI, agentic AI, 5G/6G technology, and cloud containers, on an organization's security posture.
- Share strategies for building resilience against ransomware, supply chain attacks, and insider threats.
- Discuss regulatory, compliance, and talent challenges facing cybersecurity teams in a rapidly changing environment.
- Foster cross-sector collaboration to develop proactive, innovative, and sustainable security solutions that drive long-term value.
- Network and share across different market sectors to discuss challenges and changes that can help promote cybersecurity education.
