SIA Invites Submissions for New Product Showcase at ISC West 2018

All companies can enter products for consideration in the flagship awards program at the nation’s biggest security products trade show.

Silver Spring, Md.—Submissions are open for the SIA New Product Showcase (NPS) at ISC West 2018, announced the Security Industry Association (SIA) today. For 2018, SIA refreshed categories open for consideration to include evolving technologies such as robotics, cybersecurity and risk management systems.

Since 1979, SIA NPS has been the security industry’s premier awards-based marketing program. Via NPS, SIA and ISC West recognize innovative products, services and solutions in electronic physical security. Technologies showcased through this program are used in the protection of life and property in residential, commercial and institutional settings.

“By entering the SIA New Product Showcase, manufacturers take advantage of the top awards program at the biggest security products trade show in the country, thus ensuring heightened visibility for their new or refreshed products,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “Every year, SIA NPS judges see the best of the best, and make awards in 20 or more categories, thereby alerting ISC West attendees and the security industry as a whole as to the best new products available in the marketplace. As in previous years, SIA NPS entrants will present their products for awards considerations across a number of specific categories in ISC West at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. On April 10, 2018, entrants will make face-to-face presentations with SIA NPS judges and deliver their new products to the showcase area where they can be viewed by ISC West attendees. On April 11, 2018, SIA will hold the NPS Awards Ceremony at 3:30 p.m. on the Sands Expo Lobby Stage (time and location subject to change).

With its timing at ISC West, SIA NPS is the first major product awards program of the year in the security industry.
