ZF: In 2013, following a decade of research on ultra-low-power circuitry at the University of Michigan, CubeWorks was founded by three Ph.D. candidates and four professors to advance the next generation of Internet of Things (IoT) sensors.

Today, with the development of the CubiSens platform, we offer a portfolio of ultra-low-power, ultra-small wireless sensors. These sensors provide access to mission-critical information exactly when and where it is needed.

What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings/company unique?

ZF: We produce next-generation IoT sensor technology. With the CubiSens AH110 wireless smart sensor, we are revolutionizing security and environmental monitoring.

The AH110 is smaller than a nickel and it is ultra-long-lasting, ultra-small, ultra-smart, wireless and flexible; it brings unparalleled flexibility and functionality to security control and monitoring. The sensor can discreetly and in real time monitor everything from movement (e.g., a door or drawer opening, a window breaking, or assets being moved) to environmental conditions (e.g., temperature and humidity) to protect assets and valuables from wear. The AH110 can be installed at scale on virtually anything and within seconds, has over five years of battery life and easily interfaces with security software.

What is something we might not know about your company – or something new you are doing in security?

ZF: We’re pleased to share that the CubiSens AH110 is now available for pilot projects and purchase. Solutions have historically been complex and expensive to install and maintain, but not anymore.

Industry professionals can now unobtrusively and wirelessly monitor movement, temperature and humidity from one ultra-small and easy-to-use device. The AH110 provides users with more functionality than a suite of traditional, specialized sensors at a fraction of the total cost. We’re pleased to be able to offer this advanced security solution for an ever-growing range of applications.
