Yasel Morales (CEO), Roberto P. Morales (CFO & CCO) & Management of Solar

Elaisha Santana: Genesis Security Services is a corporation that was founded in 1997 by the Puerto Rican brothers Emilio and Roberto Morales, who identified the urgent necessity to offer security services of high quality in competitive prices. The first contract we were awarded was the Comptroller of Puerto Rico (government) with only two positions. Today, that vision has led Genesis Security to be a leader in the industry, with sales over $80 million a year, a workforce of more than 5,000 employees and a philosophy that not only applies to the provision of traditional surveillance and protection services, but is a new philosophy in the integrations of technology with the highest quality of the security industry. Our headquarters are in Carolina, Puerto Rico, and in 2019 we opened another branch – Gentech Security – in Orlando, Florida.

What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings/company unique?

technology division

ES: We offer a wide range of security services such as security guards, response team, closed-circuit TV systems, access control systems, cybersecurity, monitoring, consulting and much more. The deep knowledge that we have overall makes us unique in where the usual security company our size will only focus on resolve a security issue. In comparison, we provide a broader vision on technology and security that will help us deliver a better solution for client needs.

What is something we might not know about your company – or something new you are doing in security?

ES: We currently offer physical security, and we are entering the cybersecurity market to offer physical and logical security.

What does SIA offer that is most important to you and your company? And what do you most hope to get out of membership?
