SIA New Member Profile: Tempo Cyber Group

New Security Industry Association (SIA) member Tempo Cyber Group provides cybersecurity analysis and strategy. The company is headquartered in Aventura, Florida.

SIA spoke with Andre Kostadinov, CEO of Tempo Cyber Group, about the company’s history and offerings, the security industry and working with SIA.

Tell us the story of your company.

Andre Kostadinov: Recognizing how underserved small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are by managed security service providers (MSSP), we founded Tempo Cyber Group in 2022. Our vision is to become our clients’ trusted cybersecurity, privacy and compliance advisor, helping them 1) understand security and compliance needs, 2) develop a strategy to achieve those objectives and 3) manage business operations while sustaining optimal security and compliance posture.

What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings/company unique?

AK: Our initial focus is aligning U.S.-based SMBs with comprehensive, cost-effective MSSPs to get them the services they need. We start by offering a free analysis of each company’s current posture and then help them develop a strategy based on their resources, needs and gaps. With seasoned IT and cyber experts on staff, Tempo is able to scale our level of support from referrals to prevetted MSSPs all the way up to providing vCISO and co-managed cybersecurity as a service support.

What does SIA offer that is most important to you and your company? And what do you most hope to get out of membership?

AK: With the cyber threat landscape continuously growing and evolving, proper cyber hygiene is a critical success factor for SMBs. Increasing regulations for data protection and breach reporting also continue to make cybersecurity and compliance operational considerations. We see both of these as key drivers in the marketplace, and we look forward to collaborating with other SIA members to identify viable and affordable solutions and services to help SMBs achieve and maintain an effective cybersecurity posture.
