SIA New Member Profile: Solutions360

New Security Industry Association (SIA) member Solutions360 provides professional services automation software for integration businesses. The company is headquartered in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, with a U.S.-based office in Mesa, Arizona, and serves technology integrators across the world.
SIA spoke with Brad Malone, chief operations officer at Solutions360, about the company, the security industry and working with SIA.

Tell us the story of your company.

Brad Malone: Solutions360 was founded with a vision to provide technology integrators with a unified business management platform that could streamline operations and drive efficiency. Our journey began over 30 years ago when we recognized a major gap in the industry – integrators were struggling with disconnected systems, redundant data entry and a lack of real-time visibility into their businesses.
We developed Q360, our flagship enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, to address these challenges by offering a single, comprehensive, end-to-end solution that connects every aspect of an integrator’s business, from sales and project management to service and accounting.
Three years ago, we acquired Navigate Management Consulting, a worldwide consulting organization to technology systems integrators. Navigate focuses on improving their clients’ bottom-line results through strategic and business planning, operational excellence and cost reduction through improved efficiencies.
As we evolved, we expanded our expertise into the security industry, recognizing the unique needs of security integrators who manage complex projects, service agreements and compliance requirements. Today, we work closely with security, AV and life safety integrators to help them optimize their operations, improve profitability and scale their businesses with confidence.

What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings or your company unique?
BM: Solutions360 provides a fully integrated business management platform designed specifically for security integrators. Our Q360 ERP software is a single-source solution that connects every aspect of an integrator’s business, from sales and quoting to project management, service dispatch, inventory control and financials.

- Industry-Specific Focus – We understand the complexities of the security industry, including recurring monthly revenue (RMR) tracking, contract management, compliance and service-level agreements – all of which are built directly into our platform.
- Real-Time Business Intelligence – Q360 provides live dashboards and reporting tools, giving integrators full visibility into their operations and profitability at any given moment.
- Process Automation – We help security companies automate workflows, reducing manual data entry and improving operational efficiency.
- Scalability for Growth – Whether a business is small and growing or a large enterprise, Q360 adapts to its needs, helping integrators scale without adding commensurate administrative overhead.
Our deep understanding of security integration businesses – combined with our commitment to helping them increase efficiency and profitability – is what sets Solutions360 apart.

What is something we might not know about your company – or something new you are doing in security?
BM: Solutions360 is advancing its artificial intelligence (AI) strategy to drive smarter decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. This initiative integrates real-time AI-driven insights into service calls, along with advanced data analytics for financial and project forecasting – all seamlessly embedded within Q360. Leveraging leading AI models, Solutions360 is refining processes and delivering more responsive, data-driven solutions.
The strategy also strengthens internal operations with AI-powered enhancements such as code security reviews, quality assurance testing and business process transformation across all segments. Integrating these capabilities into daily workflows, Solutions360 is streamlining operations and positioning itself for a more agile and efficient future.

What is your company’s vision, and what are your goals for the security industry?
BM: At Solutions360, our vision is to be the go-to business management platform for security integrators, empowering them with a single source of truth that drives efficiency, profitability and growth. We believe that security integrators should have the tools they need to scale their businesses without operational bottlenecks, allowing them to focus on delivering top-tier security solutions to their clients.
At the core of our mission, which is “to become our customer’s most valued business partner,” we believe that when security integrators operate more efficiently, the entire industry benefits – leading to better security solutions, higher customer satisfaction and stronger, more profitable businesses.

What do you think are the biggest opportunities in the security industry right now?
BM:
- Expanding RMR Models – Security integrators have a major opportunity to transition from one-time project sales to subscription-based services. Offering managed security services, remote monitoring and predictive maintenance can create stable, high-margin revenue streams while strengthening customer relationships.
- Cloud-Based and AI-Driven Security Solutions – Cloud-hosted video surveillance, access control and AI-enhanced analytics are rapidly growing sectors. Integrators who embrace AI-powered threat detection, facial recognition and behavioral analytics will differentiate themselves and offer higher-value solutions.
- Cybersecurity and Physical Security Convergence – With increasing concerns over cyber threats targeting physical security systems, there is a huge demand for integrators who can offer cybersecurity expertise alongside traditional security solutions. Companies that integrate network security, endpoint protection and compliance management into their service offerings will gain a competitive advantage.
- Smart Buildings and Internet of Things-Integrated Security – The rise of smart cities, smart buildings and IoT-connected security systems presents a growing market for integrators. Businesses are looking for solutions that combine security, automation and building management systems, creating opportunities for integrators who can provide end-to-end smart security solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Services – Governments and industries are tightening compliance regulations related to data privacy, video surveillance and access control. Security integrators who offer compliance consulting, risk assessments and security policy development can position themselves as trusted advisors rather than just vendors.
- Industry Consolidation and Strategic Partnerships – With more mergers and acquisitions happening, there’s an opportunity for integrators to partner with technology providers, IT firms and security manufacturers to expand their service capabilities. Companies that embrace collaboration and integration with complementary services will be better positioned for long-term success.
At Solutions360, we believe the biggest opportunity lies in helping security integrators scale efficiently through automation, business intelligence and process optimization. Companies that adopt data-driven decision-making, optimize RMR and integrate new technologies seamlessly into their business models will be the ones that thrive.

What are your predictions for the security industry in the short and long term?
BM: For short-term predictions (the next 1-3 years):
- Increased Adoption of Cloud-Based and AI-Driven Security Solutions – Security integrators will see growing demand for cloud-based security systems, AI-driven video analytics and remote monitoring solutions. AI-powered security tools will enhance threat detection, reduce false alarms and improve real-time decision making.
- Growth of RMR Models – More security integrators will shift toward “software-as-a-service” models, offering security solutions through subscription-based services. Managed services, remote monitoring, and predictive maintenance will become key revenue drivers, moving away from traditional one-time project sales.
- Tighter Cybersecurity and Compliance Regulations – As physical security systems become more connected, there will be increased emphasis on cybersecurity and data protection. Regulatory requirements around data privacy, video surveillance, and access control will continue to evolve, requiring integrators to stay ahead of compliance changes.
- Industry Consolidation and Strategic Partnerships – The security industry is seeing a rise in mergers, acquisitions and partnerships as companies look to expand service offerings and technological capabilities. Integrators who leverage automation and business intelligence tools will have a competitive edge in scaling their operations efficiently.

Our long-term predictions (for the next 5-10 years) are:
- The Rise of Smart and Autonomous Security Solutions – AI-driven autonomous surveillance, facial recognition and biometric security will become mainstream. Self-learning security systems will proactively identify and respond to threats without human intervention.
- Deep Integration of Physical Security and Cybersecurity – The line between physical security and cybersecurity will blur, with unified security platforms becoming the standard. Security integrators will need to offer both physical security and IT-driven cybersecurity solutions to remain competitive.
- More Emphasis on Business Intelligence and Predictive Analytics – Security solutions will no longer just react to threats but will also predict and prevent them using AI and big data. Integrators will need to leverage business intelligence tools to optimize security deployments and offer data-driven insights to clients.
- A Fully Service-Based Industry Model – By 2030, the security industry will likely move almost entirely to a service-based model, with most security solutions provided as subscription-based offerings. Customers will prioritize flexibility, remote management and integrated security ecosystems, making operational efficiency more critical than ever.
At Solutions360, we see these shifts as opportunities for security integrators to future-proof their businesses. Our goal is to help integrators transition to RMR models, streamline operations with automation and leverage data-driven decision making to stay ahead of the competition.
