SIA New Member Profile: Guardnova

New Security Industry Association (SIA) member Guardnova, an accredited partner of Ajax Systems, offers smart security systems for homes, commercial real estate and more. The company was founded in Ukraine and is headquartered in Bothell, Washington.
SIA spoke with Yevhen Petrov, manager of Guardnova, about the company, the security industry and working with SIA.
Tell us the story of your company.
Yevhen Petrov: My company was founded before moving to America. I was engaged in the installation and maintenance of security systems and smart home in the private segment in Ukraine, and after moving to the United States I decided to develop this business further and make this service popular and in demand in the Washington state. My company began its activities in 2025 in the U.S. and already has a strong partnership with Ajax distributors and the first orders for the installation of the system.

What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings or your company unique?
YP: The company offers services such as video surveillance systems, security systems, smart home, leak protection and smoke detectors. The uniqueness of the system is that all equipment works and connects to one central system with one single application, and the ability to service the service company, constant updates with new sensors and software development makes this system flexible and easy to use.
What is something we might not know about your company – or something new you are doing in security?
YP: My company is also developing a software add-on to the video surveillance system as a modular solution. This software is currently in the development stage and is being sought by investors. It is based on detecting the posture or movement of a person’s body to recognize an alarm or help signal.
What is your company’s vision, and what are your goals for the security industry?
YP: My vision in this industry is to show and convey to society that security systems are very important at this time and the cost of these systems is available on the market for any family or business!

What does SIA offer that is most important to you/your company? And what do you most hope to get out of your membership with SIA?
YP: SIA gives my company the opportunity to stay up to date with all the market updates and find new opportunities for developing my business.
How does your organization engage with SIA? What are your plans for involvement in the next year?
YP: I believe and hope that SIA will continue to hold meetings and events where my company can take part in finding new partners and moving forward with such a giant of the security systems industry as SIA.
