New Track at ISC East! Four Can’t-Miss Sessions on Commercial Real Estate and Proptech

SIA Education at ISC East logo

ISC East 2025 is coming up Nov. 18–20 in New York City, and the Security Industry Association (SIA) and ISC Security Events have revealed full conference details for the SIA Education at ISC East program, including keynote presentations from leading luminaries and over 75 sessions from top industry expert speakers on the most current business trends, technologies and industry developments.

Among the robust lineup of conference sessions is an all-new track on commercial real estate (CRE) and proptech.

“These tracks are designed to offer a glimpse into the owner’s perspective—their pain points, decision-making process and thought process and, most importantly, how they interact with their vendors,” said Min Kyriannis, CEO of Amyna Systems and a presenter and organizer of key sessions on the CRE and proptech track. “These are significant considerations that provide access to ask questions and speak with the owners themselves. There will be a few sessions created and run by the owners to offer their perspective, which is critical to the vendor world. One example is Bridging Cyber and Physical Security in PropTech, which bridges the gap between their cybersecurity and physical security teams to ensure that systems deployed are secure, allowing them to maintain integrity within their enterprise. Owners are not responsible for just one system—they are accountable for all systems within their organization.”

Here are four sessions you won’t want to miss; make sure to add them to your ISC East calendar!

Bridging Cyber and Physical Security in Proptech: Strategies for Success

Thursday, Nov. 20, 11:15 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

This expanded session bridges technology-driven cyber and physical threats, such as ransomware, Internet of Things (IoT) vulnerabilities, insider risks and critical infrastructure sabotage, with the urgent realities of active shooter incidents and other on-site dangers. Framed within the rapidly evolving proptech sector in 2025, panelists will examine how emerging security technologies, AI, and integrated response platforms are reshaping defenses against an increasingly complex threat landscape. The discussion will highlight critical vulnerabilities across connected property environments, from data breaches, phishing attacks, and supply chain risks to physical acts of violence, exploring where these domains intersect. Industry leaders will share actionable strategies for prevention, detection and coordinated response, while addressing the challenges posed by fragmented regulations, artificial intelligence-powered crime and the ongoing shortage of skilled security talent.
