Ready to advance your career? Apply for one of the 10 full-tuition scholarships from the Security Industry Association (SIA) Scholarship Program.


The Basics:

  • 10 full-tuition scholarships

  • Good for undergraduate or graduate degrees

  • Exclusively for employees of SIA member companies

  • Application deadline of Jan. 10, 2017

At SIA, we understand the importance of making higher education accessible for students of all ages and backgrounds, and so we teamed up with the University of Phoenix, the largest private university in North America, to create a scholarship program for employees of SIA member companies.


Through the SIA Scholarship Program, 10 full-tuition scholarships will be offered. Each scholarship will allow a prospective student the opportunity to complete an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the University of Phoenix -- on campus or online.​

Employees of SIA member companies can benefit from the scholarships by:

  • Continuing an education goal
  • Preparing yourself for career growth
  • Making an impact in the physical security industry

Only the first 150 qualified applications that meet the defined eligibility criteria will be considered. Apply today.​



The earlier of (a) January 10, 2017, or (b) when the first 150 qualified applications have been received.

A complete application, and supporting docu​mentation, must be submitted before the first 150 qualified applications that meet the defined eligibility criteria have been submitted, or before January 10, 2017, whichever comes first. Applications not submitted or submitted after the application limit or designated deadline will not be considered, and there will be no exceptions.

Award Date:

The scholarship committee will determine the recipients of the scholarship by the award date, March 2, 2017. All applicants with a submitted application will be notified via email, regardless if selected as a recipient or not, by the award date regarding the status of the scholarship.​
