    Scott Dunn is chair of the SIA Board of Directors and senior director of business development, solutions and services for Axis Communications. He is responsible for Axis’ long-term strategy regarding in-house developed solutions including access control, hosted video and future products, as well as professional and technical services. He is also responsible for vertical market development, architecture and engineering programs, application software and technology partners. Among his many accomplishments, Dunn was the architect of Axis’ National Accounts and Business Development programs. He also leads a team dedicated to liaising with key industry associations to promote educational and standards efforts.

    Dunn has over 20 years of experience in the security industry in both access control and video surveillance areas having previously held top executive positions at Synergistics, Inc. and Northern Computers-Honeywell. He has been selected as one of the top 10 most influential people in the physical security market of North America by the SecurityHive.com peer survey.

    Cameron Walker-Miller is the director of standards and technology for the Security Industry Association. He leads industry projects that align security technologies with industry best practices, standards and guidelines.

    Prior to joining SIA, Walker-Miller led public safety and physical security related systems administration and physical integration teams at Columbia University in New York City. His previous background includes education technology in distance learning innovation for the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Columbia University, and he has also held multiple technically focused roles in media and entertainment, including theater sound design, television and film post-production and a role as the assistant director of team video operations for the NFL, with the Cincinnati Bengals.

    Walker-Miller holds a master’s degree in instructional technology and media from Columbia University in the City of New York’s Teachers College, as well as a bachelor’s degree in film studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
