Drew Aldinger, CEO of Raven Tech

Drew Aldinger: I have a background in electrical project management, A/V production, security and information technology. I established Raven Tech in 2023 with the intent of functioning as an IT service provider that would not limit its offerings to a single specialized area.

Given the continually expanding array of security devices that seamlessly interface with IT products, it was the rational decision to incorporate them into our product offerings in 2024. Our primary goal has been and continues to be the provision of exceptional customer service.

What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings or your company unique?

DA: Raven Tech is an up-and-coming and ever-growing organization that specializes in the provision of enterprise-grade security camera systems, intelligent home and automation control solutions, cellular systems, door access control and IT products. Our overarching objective is to seamlessly integrate as many of our services as feasible within a unified and user-friendly interface.

What truly sets Raven Tech apart from its competitors is our unwavering commitment to designing and implementing systems that are tailored to our customers’ unique requirements and aspirations. Through our diverse range of verticals, we bring forth a singular goal: to alleviate the complexities and challenges of our customers’ lives, no matter the circumstances.

What is something we might not know about your company – or something new you are doing in security?

DA: Our organization is engaged in the development of APIs with the express purpose of integrating previously isolated products and brands with third-party automation, door access control and security systems. We’re also implementing comprehensive vaping and firearm detection systems within educational institutions, medical facilities and religious establishments. These measures are undertaken with the intent of enhancing safety and security in these sensitive sectors.

What is your company’s vision, and what are your goals for the security industry?

DA: Our vision and objective encompass not merely the maintenance of the status quo, but also the conception and design of security systems that will persevere for years to come.

What do you think are the biggest opportunities in the security industry right now?

DA: The primary possibilities we perceive are that we have the capacity to achieve substantially more with a camera than simply identifying an issue. This is made possible through the utilization of cutting-edge analytics, artificial intelligence, deep learning, automation and network security measures. It’s clearly the future of security.

What do you enjoy most about being at your company – and in the security industry?

DA: Throughout the entire process, from the initial sales presentation and extending through the implementation and installation phases, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge. The extraordinary team at Raven Tech motivates me to fashion innovative and bespoke systems that will impart long-term value upon our clientele.

What does SIA offer that is most important to you/your company? And what do you most hope to get out of your membership with SIA?

DA: Our organization is thrilled to be the sole current Nebraska member of the Security Industry Association. This presents a unique opportunity for us to augment our knowledge and hone our skills alongside fellow industry professionals from across the nation.
