Applications are open for three 2026 SIA scholarship opportunities! The SIA RISE Scholarship, Veterans in Security Scholarship and Women in Security Forum Scholarship offer funds to security industry professionals, as well as students, to help them further their professional development and educational goals. Don’t wait; apply by Sept. 11!
Calling all D.C.-area security industry professionals! SIA has two networking opportunities for you this month. On Sept. 2, the SIA Identity and Biometric Technology Advisory Board will host the fifth annual Bourbon & Biometrics event, an Identity Week after-party in Washington, D.C., and on Sept. 10 the SIA National Capital Region Security Forum community will gather at Brivo HQ in Bethesda, Maryland, for an evening of fun, connection and industry conversation.
