Tell us the story of your company.

Nick Gardner: Officially founded in 2021 by Nate Gordon, Site Secure emerged as a game changer in the mobile surveillance industry, experiencing rapid triple-digit growth since its inception. With over two decades of experience designing, building and managing surveillance systems, Nate saw an opportunity to disrupt the security space when the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly halted projects. Instead of waiting for the industry to recover, he pioneered a smarter, more adaptable surveillance solution.
By pivoting with purpose, he not only kept his employees working through uncertain times, but also laid the foundation for Site Secure to become a stronger, more innovative company with a tower designed to redefine mobile surveillance.
The idea for Site Secure was born from Nate’s frustration with the shortcomings of existing mobile surveillance solutions. Many systems lacked proper outdoor cameras, offered inconsistent video streams or delivered footage so grainy that distinguishing between a car and a person was nearly impossible. The tipping point came when Nate spotted a bulky mobile surveillance trailer occupying an entire parking space – yet still creating blind spots due to poor camera placement. He knew he could design something far superior.
Leveraging his extensive industry knowledge and network, Nate sketched the blueprint for a system that would set a new standard: a compact, highly capable mobile surveillance tower. He worked closely with his team to fabricate a prototype that streamed crystal-clear 1080p video in real time via a cellular network and ran entirely on solar power. The design featured four fixed cameras providing true 360-degree coverage, flashing red and blue lights for deterrence and seamless remote access to video footage via the cloud from any device.
The prototype’s impact was immediate. Within 24 hours of its first deployment, a site superintendent called, eager to secure more towers, stating that nothing else on the market compared. This validation reinforced Nate’s vision and marked the beginning of Site Secure’s journey.
Under Nate’s leadership, Site Secure has rapidly expanded into sectors such as retail, utilities and public safety. The company’s innovative surveillance towers consistently outperform competitors in side-by-side comparisons – not only across Arizona, but nationwide – securing high-profile projects, even in competitors’ home territories.
At Site Secure, we don’t just build mobile surveillance trailers; we create surveillance towers that truly stand above the rest. Our commitment to solving user frustrations and delivering unmatched technology performance and top-notch customer service has positioned us as a leader in the industry – and we’re just getting started.
Our headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, is more than just an office – it’s a full-scale manufacturing hub where 80% of our facility is dedicated to production. We take raw sheet metal, fabricate it into surveillance towers, assemble each unit, and prepare them for deployment, all under one roof. The remaining 20% of our space houses our IT, research and development (R&D), customer service, sales and marketing teams, ensuring complete control over our supply chain, costs and, most importantly, the quality of our products. This in-house approach allows us to reinvest directly into R&D, continuously improving our towers and pushing the boundaries of mobile surveillance.
In just a few years, Site Secure has rapidly emerged as the leader in mobile surveillance. What began as a calculated, step-by-step expansion quickly turned into a nationwide movement. In 2024 alone, we expanded into nine states, stretching from Florida to Massachusetts and into the Midwest. Our reputation and results have fueled this growth, largely through word of mouth and partnerships with high-profile organizations.
One of our most notable deployments took place in Illinois, where we partnered with the U.S. Secret Service to provide 12 mobile surveillance towers to help secure the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Meanwhile, in Aurora, Colorado, we worked alongside local law enforcement and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during a high-risk operation to reclaim an apartment complex. Our towers provided real-time surveillance, leading to the deportation of 14 individuals involved in criminal activity and supplying critical video evidence that helped close dozens of cases.
Even on short notice, our agility sets us apart. In California, we outfitted a major music festival with eight towers, creating an on-site monitoring center that allowed organizers and law enforcement to oversee the entire event from a single location, both on-site and remotely.
As we move into 2025, Site Secure is scaling manufacturing capabilities to meet the surging demand. With every deployment, we continue to redefine what mobile surveillance can do, expanding our footprint and disrupting an industry that has long been stagnant. We’re not just another surveillance provider – we’re the future of mobile security, built in house and built for results.
What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings or your company unique?

NG: Smaller footprint. Faster streaming. Smarter technology. Unmatched service. That’s the Site Secure difference, and that’s why we’re towering over the competition. We don’t just follow the industry playbook, we’re rewriting it. While others rely on trailers and off-the-shelf solutions, we build and design our surveillance towers entirely in house, from the sheet metal up. We solve complex security challenges with real-time streaming, rapid deployment, unmatched camera uptime and a level of customer service that has earned us a 5-star Google rating. Here’s what sets us apart:
1. Customer Service Comes First – Always
Without happy partners, we have no business. That’s why customer service is more than a priority – it’s our foundation. Whether it’s a late-night emergency or a last-minute deployment, we answer the call in just a few rings, day or night. We don’t aim to be a one-time vendor – we want to be the first (and only) mobile surveillance partner you call when security is on the line.
2. Real-Time Streaming – Because Anything Less Isn’t Surveillance

A surveillance tower is only as good as its visibility. Our towers stream in real time, providing full access to live footage, not just short video snippets like many expect.
Whether through our secure cellular connection or Starlink satellite integration (where we were the first to bring it to mobile surveillance), our partners can monitor their sites anywhere in the world with continuous 24/7 video access, with footage stored for up to 30 days.
3. Industry-Leading Camera Uptime
Real-time streaming is critical, but what truly impresses our partners? How fast our cameras load. Whether viewing on a phone, tablet or desktop, our proprietary system, designed by CEO Nate, self-diagnoses and self-heals issues, ensuring the best camera uptime in the industry. We don’t rely on outdated or rigid systems; our technology keeps cameras live and operational with near-zero downtime.
4. A Smarter, Smaller, More Capable Design
When Nate designed the first Site Secure tower, he knew one thing: he wasn’t going to buy a trailer from China and follow the same blueprint as everyone else. Instead, he created a more compact, mobile and efficient design that doesn’t take up unnecessary space. Our towers not only provide better aesthetics, but also allow for unmatched flexibility in hardware selection, ensuring every unit is built for peak performance and mass production.
5. True Customization – Tailored Security Solutions
Unlike the industry norm who offer a “one-size-fits-all” approach, we never say no to a challenge. Because we manufacture everything in house, from raw sheet metal to finished towers, we have full control over design and customization. If our partners need a bespoke solution, we build it. Period.
What is something we might not know about your company – or something new you are doing in security?
NG:What’s exciting about Site Secure isn’t just what we’ve already built – it’s what we’re building next. While our partners are thrilled with our towers and solutions, we’re not satisfied. One of our core mottos is “Be better than yesterday,” and we live by it. Every day, we challenge ourselves to push the boundaries of mobile surveillance, proving that these towers can do far more than what’s currently on the market.
We’re not here to follow trends – we’re here to set them. Where others have failed, we aim to succeed. Where others see limitations, we see opportunity. While we won’t reveal what’s happening in our R&D lab, we can say this: the security industry has long struggled with certain challenges, and we’re not afraid to take them on. We don’t fear failure because we know that’s where true innovation begins. At Site Secure, we don’t just want to lead mobile surveillance – we want to redefine it. And trust us, what’s coming next is worth watching.
What is your company’s vision, and what are your goals for the security industry?
NG: At Site Secure, our vision is Widespread Peace of Mind. We don’t just talk about our vision – we prove it with every deployment and every solution we deliver. Our goal is simple: to be the mobile surveillance partner that truly cares. One that not only listens to our partners’ frustrations, but actively solves them.
We want to set a new standard in the industry, where fast response times, real-time surveillance and customer-first service aren’t just promises but the expectation. And as we continue to expand, we’re committed to ensuring that everywhere the sun shines, Site Secure is there to protect our clients’ peace of mind.
What do you think are the biggest opportunities in the security industry right now?
NG: The most exciting opportunity in the security industry today is the rapid pace of technological advancement. Surveillance technology is evolving faster than ever, and with every breakthrough we get closer to staying ahead of crime rather than just reacting to it.
At Site Secure, we see this acceleration as both a challenge and an opportunity. It’s a challenge because security threats are evolving just as fast, requiring constant adaptation. But it’s also an opportunity – one that allows us to push mobile surveillance beyond its traditional limits. We don’t just want to keep up; we want to lead.
New artificial intelligence- (AI-)driven analytics, real-time streaming capabilities and self-healing camera systems are just the beginning. As these technologies advance, the gap between proactive and reactive security will continue to close. Our industry has the chance to redefine what’s possible, turning surveillance from a passive tool into an active force in deterring and preventing crime.
The companies that embrace innovation will set the new standard, while those that become complacent will leave vulnerabilities in their wake. That’s why, at Site Secure, we don’t settle. We build, test, refine and push the limits of mobile surveillance every day. The speed of advancement isn’t something we fear – it’s what drives us forward.

What are your predictions for the security industry in the short and long term?
NG: The truth is, no one really knows where the security industry is headed – not with the rapid evolution of AI and camera technology. Long-term predictions? Impossible. Even short-term ones feel like a moving target. What we do know is that the industry will change faster than most expect, and it’s on vendors like us to not just keep up but stay ahead.
We also anticipate major consolidation, with big players absorbing smaller companies. While that might sound like progress, history tells us otherwise – growth often breeds complacency. When companies get too comfortable, innovation slows, blind spots emerge and customers become vulnerable. That’s where Site Secure sees opportunity.
We’re not here to play it safe or follow the pack. We’re here to challenge, disrupt and prove that mobile surveillance can do more – not just today, but tomorrow, and every day after. So while we won’t pretend to have a crystal ball, we can promise this: when the mobile surveillance industry slows down, we’ll be the ones shaking it up.
What do you enjoy most about being at your company – and in the security industry?
NG: It might sound clichéd, but what drives us every day is the satisfaction of exceeding expectations and tackling the ever-evolving challenges of deterring crime. At Site Secure, we don’t just deploy surveillance towers, we solve real security problems. Whether it’s protecting critical infrastructure, securing high-profile events or helping law enforcement shut down criminal activity, we take pride in providing solutions that make a difference.
The security industry is unpredictable. New threats emerge, technology advances and complacency creates vulnerabilities. That’s what excites us. We don’t want to follow industry trends; we want to push them forward. Every challenge gives us an opportunity to prove that mobile surveillance can do more, and with every deployment, we refine and improve what we do.
Beyond the technology, it’s the relationships that make this work so rewarding. We partner with industry leaders, law enforcement, and businesses that share our mission of creating safer environments while building teams dedicated to the same goal.
And most importantly, we show up, day or night, answering calls in just a few rings, adjusting solutions on the fly, and ensuring our partners feel supported every step of the way. At Site Secure, we don’t just promise peace of mind – we deliver it through action.
What does SIA offer that is most important to you/your company? And what do you most hope to get out of your membership with SIA?
NG: Relationships are everything. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Site Secure’s rapid growth is rooted in the decades of experience Nate has in the security industry, and the connections he’s built along the way. Being part of SIA is an opportunity to expand those relationships even further, collaborating with other industry leaders who share our vision for the future of security.
But just as important as relationships is learning. The more we understand the challenges the industry faces, the better we can build solutions that truly make a difference. We don’t just want to be part of the conversation – we want to listen, innovate and push the industry forward. That’s what excites us most about joining SIA.
