SILVER SPRING, Md.—The Security Industry Association (SIA) has opened the call for nominations for the 2025 SIA Women in Biometrics Awards, a globally recognized program dedicated to recognizing innovative women creating a more secure world by guiding the biometrics technology market. Recipients of this year’s Women in Biometrics Awards will be recognized at SIA’s 2025 Identity and Biometrics Symposium on Nov. 5 in the Washington, D.C., area.

“The SIA Women in Biometrics Awards are a widely celebrated initiative commending the outstanding women who have shared their exceptional expertise to advance the protection of people, places, facilities and communities through biometrics,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “In this eleventh year of the program, we look forward to presenting the awards in a special new venue—SIA’s Identity and Biometrics Symposium—and we urge our members and the broader industry to get involved by submitting nominations to recognize the important work and achievements of women leaders in this field.”
