In this online, e-learning class developed by Dave Tyson of CISO Insights for SIA members, you’ll learn the essentials of marketing and selling to CISOs. Based on interviews from 20 top CISOs, this popular classrom education program is being offered as online learning exclusively for 30 employees of SIA’s member companies. The class is a self-paced program. You’ll watch 6 online, on-demand modules, and improve your ability to deliver solutions to the CISO – who is ultimately making purchase decisions related to all security solutions.

Dave Tyson, CEO, CISO Insights Dave Tyson is the CEO of CISO Insights, a global cybersecurity consultancy with operations in the USA, Canada and the UK, that combines the expertise of multiple globally experienced CISOs and CSOs. His previous role was as CISO for SC Johnson, a global consumer package goods firm. Prior to joining SCJ, he led security programs for the largest power utility in the U.S., was the global security operations lead for the largest e-commerce company in the world and was the CSO for the host city of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Mr. Tyson has Master of Business Administration specializing in digital technology management, is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and is board certified in security management and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Dave is frequent speaker at conferences and education events in North and South America, Asia and Europe. He has published dozens of articles in industry magazines and published the first book on Security Convergence via Butterworth Heinemann, “Security Convergence: Managing Enterprise Security Risk.” Dave is the current past chairman of the board and was 2015 president of ASIS International, the world’s largest security management association.
