SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100

Evaluation and Selection Process

The SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100 program is highly competitive, receiving more than 500 nominations each year from across the global security industry. To ensure the integrity of the program, SIA dedicates significant time and resources to reviewing nominations through a fair, impartial and structured evaluation process.

WISF Power 100 honorees are nominated by industry peers or through self-nomination. SIA membership is not required to submit a nomination or to be recognized as an honoree.

During the nomination process, nominators are asked to respond to the following questions:

• Describe how the nominee has demonstrated excellence in leadership, innovation, and/or advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the security industry.
• Describe the current or potential outcomes and overall impact of the nominee’s contributions.

All nominations are reviewed by the SIA Women in Security Forum IlluminateHER Subcommittee, which is responsible for evaluating and scoring submissions.

Evaluators use a standardized scoring rubric to ensure consistency and fairness across all nominations. Submissions are assessed based on several criteria, including:

• Quality and completeness of the nomination submission
• Level of detail provided about the nominee’s achievements
• Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and/or advocacy for others’ advancement
• Measurable impact of the nominee’s contributions

If an individual receives multiple nominations, all submitted nominations are reviewed collectively and considered during the evaluation process to provide a comprehensive view of the nominee’s accomplishments and impact.

Nominees may be recognized up to three times before they are no longer eligible to be featured in the WISF Power 100.
