Security Industry Community Service Day 2025

Created by the SIA Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Advisory Board, Security Industry Community Service Day is a day meant to rally the entire security industry to give back and make the world a better place.

Security Industry Community Service Day stems from a day of service that volunteers from Zenitel and Convergint pioneered and spreads this commitment of service to the entire security industry.

The Community Service Day will always be held the first Friday in June, allowing companies to plan the service day into their annual schedule.

SIA’s Security Industry Community Service Day encourages each company to give back in a way that best matches its own company values and the interests of its team. While some companies may choose to participate as a team, other organizations may wish to empower employees to identify ways to individually contribute.
