What It Looks Like in the Building: AI, Occupants and Oversight
This discussion moves from products to practice. An end user walks through a real deployment—what was installed, what it was meant to solve and what surfaced once employees and visitors were in the loop. Joined by an expert in AI for security operations, the session examines the social and governance questions that follow deployment: privacy, data ownership and how automated decisions get reviewed.
Andrew Campagnola is a trusted voice in access control and security technology, with hands-on experience across the entire ecosystem—end user, integrator, consultant and manufacturer. His background spans engineering, sales, operations and product management, giving him a rare cross-functional view of how security solutions are built, deployed and adopted.
As director of product management at Kastle Systems, Campagnola brings a practical and strategic perspective on the evolution of managed security. He contributes actively to the industry through panels, publications and community engagement, with a focus on driving interoperability and modernization across the physical security landscape.
Campagnola has spoken at events including ISC West, ISC East and the Access Control Summit and has authored articles on the future of access control in commercial real estate. His broad background enables him to speak fluently to both technical and business audiences and help bridge the gap between legacy infrastructure and modern expectations.
