Washington Facial Recognition Law FAQ
On March 31, 2020, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee signed into law legislation (SB 6280) that requires state and local agencies, including law enforcement, that use or plan to use facial recognition technologies to meet certain reporting and deployment requirements.
