International Relations Committee

The SIA International Relations Committee works to internationally represent and advocate for SIA members in the security industry. The committee serves as an authoritative resource for SIA members and their partners in priority international security markets beginning with the security market in Latin America. The committee is the oversight body charged with developing and executing SIA’s international outreach strategies and programming objectives designed to promote international cooperation and marketing opportunities between SIA members and various international security companies and security industry trade associations.

Key committee efforts include:

• Presenting webinar series and white papers
• Hosting committee and SIA networking programs
• Serving as an influential voice to the media and independent research firms about given markets and serving as a spokesperson for SIA’s activities online and offline
• Mentoring next-generation security leaders
• Supporting the development of SIA’s RISE and Women in Security Forum communities in the region
