Special Guest Speaker: Amanda Mason, Vice President of Intelligence, Related Companies (Developer and Property Manager of Hudson Yards)
Protecting New York's Critical Infrastructure: A Hudson Yards Perspective
New York City is home to some of the world’s most valuable and visible critical infrastructure, and few projects reflect its complexity and scale more than Hudson Yards—the largest private real estate development in U.S. history. As the vice president of Intelligence for Related Companies, Amanda Mason brings a unique perspective on protecting this 28-acre mixed-use development, which integrates residential, commercial, hospitality, retail and public spaces at the heart of Manhattan.
This keynote will explore the intersecting challenges of securing modern urban infrastructure in a high-threat environment where cyber, physical, and geopolitical risks converge. Drawing on her extensive background in military intelligence and national security, Mason will highlight strategies for bridging gaps between cyber defense, physical security, law enforcement and business intelligence to safeguard critical assets. From preventing insider threats to anticipating cyber-enabled attacks, this session will examine how a layered, intelligence-driven security approach is applied in practice at Hudson Yards and other premier real estate assets. Mason will also address lessons learned for the broader security industry—where the ability to integrate intelligence into operations is no longer optional but mission critical.
