Join the Security Industry Association (SIA) virtually Sept. 9-11, 2025, for three powerful sessions of dialogue and discovery at the ESG Week Virtual Symposium! This free and open-to-all event is presented by the SIA Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Advisory Board and Built Environment Advisory Board and will feature dynamic sessions on key topics in sustainability, environment, social and governance.

Sessions will run Tuesday, Sept. 9, through Thursday, Sept. 11, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. EDT.

12:00–1:00 p.m.—Governance Without the Overhead: Practical Strategies for SMBs in Security Tech

For small and mid-sized security technology companies and integrators, governance often feels like a “big company” problem. But in today’s ESG-aware, compliance-driven market, governance is a foundational business function, not a luxury. This presentation tackles the real-world question: How do you effectively manage governance at an SMB security company—without layers of bureaucracy?

Through Apex Performance, Harris helps leaders and teams elevate performance, strengthen leadership skills and achieve measurable results in high-pressure environments.

    Customer Value Director, Johnson Controls

    Dr .Alka Khungar is the customer value (CX) director at Johnson Controls International. She supports the Global Customer Office and Global Life Cycle Solutions. Khungar has been with JCI for the past 24 years (Legacy TYCO Int). In her current role, she focuses on understanding the strategic needs of her customers and gathers customer insights by hosting customer listening sessions, advisory councils and conducting customer research. The customer intelligence is used to form up strategic growth plans by business leaders as a reactive approach to understanding the needs of the industry.

    Khungar has a doctorate in leadership and organizational management and an MBA. She teaches at Lynn International School of Business at Boca Raton, Florida. Khungar and her husband reside in Wellington, Florida, and have two daughters.

    As the vice president of the Global Sustainability Network of Johnson Controls Business Resource Group, Khungar brings her passion of ESG to life by introducing new and innovative concepts that organizations can adapt as they set to meet their respective sustainability goals.

    Kristi Keating is a seasoned executive with a strong track record of leading global transformation, sustainability and growth initiatives across the security, IT, health care and manufacturing sectors. As vice president of sustainability at Securitas Technology, she oversees ESG reporting across 19 entities and leads the company’s efforts to achieve its sustainability goals.

    One of Keating’s core missions is to integrate sustainability into Securitas’ core business strategy and aligning it with broader corporate objectives. Her leadership is helping to embed environmental responsibility into decision-making processes, drive cross-functional collaboration and enhance the company’s value proposition to clients.

    With her experience in strategy execution, merger and acquisition integration and partner engagement, Keating brings a pragmatic and purpose-driven approach to sustainability—positioning it not as a standalone function, but as a catalyst for innovation and long-term business success.

    Amy Musanti is the director of sustainable building solutions for ASSA ABLOY in New Haven, Connecticut. She joined ASSA ABLOY in 2007 and has held various positions across numerous divisions in customer service, marketing, sales and sustainability. Musanti helps to make the group’s products and processes more sustainable, by supporting business opportunities for ASSA ABLOY solutions that contribute to energy efficiency and wellness in the commercial and institutional construction industry.

    Musanti has a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in information technology from Monmouth University and a Master of Science in organizational leadership from Quinnipiac University, where she is an adjunct faculty in the School of Business.

    Matt Winn is the vice president of communications at HID where he leads communications activities including public relations, analyst relations, industry relations and internal communications. Prior to this role he was director of marketing communications, physical access control. where he drove global messaging and campaign strategies. Winn has worked in the ecommerce and security industries for over 15 years, with a focus on creating content based in custom research. His experience includes hundreds of blog posts and videos, dozens of research papers and multiple speaking sessions at industry events. Winn has earned degrees in marketing and advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.

    Dan Cremins
    Chair, SIA Built Environment Advisory Board; Senior Business Development Manager, Delta Electronics

    Dan Cremins, chair of SIA’s Built Environment Advisory Board, serves as senior business development manager for Delta Electronics, covering North America, where he helps customers leverage technology to create energy efficient, healthier and secure buildings. He also works within Delta Electronics Building Automation group, which includes companies March Networks and Vivotek, to drive integrated solutions between security, building automation, lighting and energy management systems. Cremins has over 31 years of experience in the security industry. Having started as an application engineer at American Dynamics, he first spent his career helping to design large scale video systems for casinos, airports and highway traffic systems before moving on to product management roles leading the development of solutions still in the market today. Cremins later led the product management team at March Networks, focused on multisite enterprise applications in retail, banking and transportation. He also worked with the Financial & Security Products Association to form the Branch Transformation Committee to advance the use of technology to create the branch of the future. Cremins joined March Networks parent company Delta Electronics in 2023 as part of a new Building Solutions team.

    Andrew Campagnola is a trusted voice in access control and security technology, with hands-on experience across the entire ecosystem—end user, integrator, consultant and manufacturer. His background spans engineering, sales, operations and product management, giving him a rare cross-functional view of how security solutions are built, deployed and adopted.

    As director of product management at Kastle Systems, Campagnola brings a practical and strategic perspective on the evolution of managed security. He contributes actively to the industry through panels, publications and community engagement, with a focus on driving interoperability and modernization across the physical security landscape.

    Campagnola has spoken at events including ISC West, ISC East and the Access Control Summit and has authored articles on the future of access control in commercial real estate. His broad background enables him to speak fluently to both technical and business audiences and help bridge the gap between legacy infrastructure and modern expectations.
