SIA administers CP-01, The False Alarm Reduction Standard, which saves time and money for alarm owners and first responders. In many ways, alarms are the most traditional part of a security enterprise, and SIA works with partners in the alarm industry to facilitate interoperability, connectivity and redundancy of alarm systems.
AICC Net Neutrality Comments to FCC 2017
The Alarm Industry Communication Committee, of which the Security Industry Association is a member, filed this document of comments on the Commission’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in the above-captioned proceeding on WC Docket No. 17-108 in the matter of “Restoring Internet Freedom.” The comments were largely related to what is popularly referred to as the issue of “net neutrality.”
